The link between Preston North End and Rochdale is that they are both the current longest serving members of their respective divisions.
North End are in their tenth consecutive season in the second flight, and Rochdale have been members of the basement division since 1974.
Therefore, the missing team were Oldham Athletic. The Latics have resided at League One level since 1997.
