A couple of weeks ago, this trivia poser was set by Nobes.
What was significant about the sides who finished bottom of the top four divisions in England in the 2003/4 season?
Did you work out the answer. The solution was all four teams were the last side alphabetically in their respective division.
Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League, Wimbledon in the Championship, Wycombe Wanderers in League One, and York City in League Two.
So effectively they began and ended their seasons bottom of their division. And, with Arsenal winning the Premier League in 2004, the first team alphabetically finished in top spot to couple Wolves' bottom finish.
Well done if you got the right answer, and we'll have another trivia question for you soon.
